The Power of a Cup
This year, CafeSmart is focusing on supporting those who are sleeping rough, responding to the immediate needs of people and families who are experiencing homelessness.
Keeping things as local as possible, donations will help fund grassroot responses to homelessness in your region including:
Drop-in centres
with showers, laundry facilities and food pantries
Neighb-ourhood Centres
that run community meals and provide basic essentials like clothing, swags, socks and jocks
Women’s Refuges
that provide safe accommodation to women and children fleeing domestic and family violence
Family Support Services
that provide emergency relief to those in crisis
Outreach Programs
that give medical care and support to those sleeping rough
Housing Programs
that support those experiencing homelessness into safe accommodation
