Our Final Year
For 23 years, restaurants, cafes and diners across Australia have been part of something extraordinary. Together, we’ve raised over $4.4 million, turned more than 2 million $2 donations into 1,151 grassroots grants, and helped thousands of people move from street to home.
This December, we invite you to take part in DineSmart: The Final Service — the final year of our iconic hospitality campaign in its current form. It’s our chance to come together, honour the generosity that built this movement, and make a lasting impact one more time.
Why This Year Matters
We know the hospitality world has changed and you know it better than anyone. Costs are rising, margins are tight, and the way people dine and give looks different than it did in 2003. With many venues stretched thinner than before, and after a review of where StreetSmart can make the greatest impact, we’ve made the responsible decision to pause DineSmart after 2025.
Your participation this year means everything. Every $2 donation helps fund small, local organisations responding to homelessness and hardship in communities across Australia.
How It Works
Join the movement: Register your venue below and we’ll send you everything you need to make an impact this December.
Add $2 to every bill: During December, ask diners to chip in a $2 donation to their bill.
Support local impact: Every dollar raised by your diners stays local, funding projects that help people move into safe housing and rebuild their lives.
Whether you’ve hosted DineSmart before or are joining for the first time, your involvement helps keep the spirit of hospitality and community alive.
